Who is behind this, and why it exists.
JaldiGO is a bike ride service built for Kharian and the villages around it. It started from a simple observation: the only way to get across this area without your own transport is a rickshaw that will not leave until it is full, and will not take you closer than the stop it always uses.
Everything else follows from that. The ride is yours, so it leaves when you do. The pickup and the drop-off are actual addresses, so you are not walking the last stretch with your shopping. The fare is worked out from the distance and shown to you before anyone sets off, so there is nothing to argue about at the end.
We are a small operation, run from Kharian, and we would rather say what we do not have than imply we have it. We do not offer rider insurance yet. We have not published a final fare rate because we are still measuring real routes rather than guessing at them. Bikes are the only vehicle we run.
Riders are people from here. Every one of them has their CNIC, driving licence and bike registration checked by a person before they carry a single passenger. There is no automatic sign-up, and there is no way to get on the platform by filling in a form and waiting.
The name is not about bikes on purpose. Food delivery is the next thing we intend to build, using the same riders and the same coverage.
